Summer hasn't arrived quite yet, but we expect to hear cuts from Skrillex's latest two albums — Quest for Fire and Don't Get Too Close — all season long. Now, the artist seems to be hinting at even more new material to follow.
On Twitter this afternoon, Skrillex appeared to outline that his 2023 will see the release of four albums total. Following "QFF" and "DGTC" are efforts he's calling "SKRLX" and "CONTRA," which we can apparently expect before the year "23" is out.
Quest for Fire, Skrillex's second studio album, arrived February 17, with the more pop-leaning Don't Get Too Close landing less than 24 hours afterward. The former includes work with Missy Elliott, Flowdan, Four Tet, Aluna and more, while the latter features collaborations with Yung Lean, Bladee, Chief Keef, Justin Bieber, Don Toliver and others.
After those albums arrived, Skrillex teamed with Fred Again.. and Four Tet for a Lil Baby-sampling single.
