One month on from Arts & Crafts announcing it had signed L.A. duo In the Valley Below, the group have now gone ahead and detailed their debut release for the label. Titled Peaches, the EP drops September 17.
On top of the previously premiered title track, the EP includes three more cuts that a press release promises to feature "hushed swirls of male and female vocals forged with dark stories of brooding riddles and romance." As previously reported, the project comprises Memphis-born Jeffrey Jacob and Muskegon, MI's Angela Gail, who began the project after they crossed paths in Los Angeles.
"Our biggest inspiration is powerful subjects like sex, crime and religion. And how that fits into the lives we've chosen, our dreams and struggles, mistakes and heartbreaks," the group explained in a statement.
Peaches follows the group's three-song Hymnal EP, which was issued earlier this year.
In the Valley Below hit up The Late Show With David Letterman last night (August 28) for their network television debut, using the appearance to stir up some pre-release buzz by playing "Peaches." You can see the full-band performance down below.
