Iceage

"You're Blessed" / "Count Me In" & "You're Nothing" (BBC session)

Earlier this year, Copenhagen's Iceage earned our Mark of Excellence with debut LP New Brigade. Now, the Danish punks have treated their followers to a new song, in the form of live cut "You're Nothing," which they played for the BBC alongside a couple older tunes.

The teenage upstarts unveiled the new track during an energetic performance for Marc Riley on 6 Music. The brief performance includes fiery versions of album cuts "You're Blessed" and "Count Me In." As for the new one, it's another gritty rager with gut-busting vocals and heavily distorted, but melodic, guitar chords.

Listen to the songs below. "You're Blessed" is in the first player, while "Count Me In" and "You're Nothing" are in the second. You can also check out the performance at the BBC's website. Thanks to Abeano for the heads-up.
