Huddle Stoke 'All These Fires' on Debut Album

BY Alex HudsonPublished Aug 30, 2011

Earlier this year, we declared that Huddle's "Islands" was "one of the catchiest indie pop tunes to grace ears in some time." Now, the Toronto-based indie rockers have rolled out their debut full-length. Entitled All These Fires, it's out today (August 30) through digital retailers.

The collection was produced by Chris Stringer (Ohbijou, Timber Timbre) at Lincoln County Social Club and Angles Up Studio.

According to a press release, the results blend "complex, angular, math-rock" with "melodic pop-sensibilities," drawing influence from David Bowie, the Nation and White Denim.

The ten tracks were apparently "inspired by the windswept pines, majestic towering cliffs, clear blue water, and overall calmness of Georgian Bay, Ontario."

See the tracklist below and the cover above. The band plan to tour Ontario in the fall and, before that, will open for Male Bonding on September 2 at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern.
