UK electro-pop unit Hot Chip return with Why Make Sense? next month, and as previously reported, the new album will arrive with unique artwork, as well as a bonus EP titled Separate.
Now, the band have shared the opening track to that bonus disc, "Burning Up." Heavily digitized vocals sing of "fucking shit up" and going for "shit rollercoaster rides," as soft synths and videogame-esque sound effects twinkle in the background. The track slowly builds momentum until reaching a titular, repetitive refrain of "Burning up."
It never turns into a full-fledged dancefloor banger, but you can stay chill and give the accompanying lyric video a watch in the player below.
