Hoax Inc.

Take a bit of the Saints, the Stooges, the New York Dolls and the Rolling Stones and dress it up with some old fashioned dirty bar rock and you'll have a good idea of what this is like. The Hoax Inc. formed seven years ago in Montreal and this four-song CD is their fifth release. They've gone through a few line-up changes and took a few years off because of some sordid activities but now they're back, for good or ill. This CD also features a cover of John Lennon's "Well Well Well." They count crappy grunge bands like Alice In Chains among their influences, but luckily none of that is apparent on this release.
