It's been five years since Ottawa synth-pop rockers Hilotrons fascinated us with Happymatic, but front-man Michael Dubue has made a welcome solo return. The musical variety and cohesion of his new record, At Least There's Commotion, demonstrates just why Hilotrons have been so sorely missed.
Dubue stopped by Exclaim! to performed a stripped-down piano version of the album's "Runaway Heart." At Least There's Commotion is out now, courtesy of Kelp Records.
