HAIM Kick Off North American Tour with New Songs and Cover of Prince's "I Would Die 4 U"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished May 18, 2016

HAIM released their debut album Days Are Gone back in 2013, and have since joined Taylor Swift's squad (and even collaborated with the pop star's boyfriend). But they're back to being the main attraction for a string of North American tour dates that kicked off last night (May 17) in Santa Ana, CA.

Taking the stage, the sisterly trio ran through favourites off their debut, but also gave the crowd the first live listen to some new material. They played two new tracks, reportedly titled "Nothing's Wrong" and "Give Me Just a Little of Your Love," and you can watch fan-shot footage of both in the players below.

In addition to unveiling the fresh tunes, HAIM also paid homage to Prince with a cover of one of the late singer's classics, "I Would Die 4 U."

As we await details of the band's next record, check out their upcoming tour dates below, which include a couple of Canadian festival stops.
