Metal-tinged noise-mongers the Great Sabatini have revealed plans to wreck us once again, with the release of their third full-length, Dog Years, due June 2 through Solar Flare Records.
A press release notes that the Montreal quartet's upcoming LP once again weighs in with "corrosive tones" inspired by the likes of Unsane, Melvins, Today Is the Day and other noise-rock figures. Dog Years was recorded, mixed and mastered by Sean Pearson (Cursed, Shallow North Dakota) and reportedly still manages to capture the band's "grit and live energy," resulting in an "astoundingly destructive" LP.
It's unclear at present how many songs figure on the release, but you can get a crunchy, demonically screamed preview of an as-yet-unnamed new number in the trailer down below, which stars a horned furry much less intimidating than the song it's attached to.
More details on Dog Years, as well info behind an impending three-week tour of the West Coast of Canada and the U.S., are expected to be unveiled ahead of the album's release.
