After offering up an animated preview of what's to come, hard rock force Gone Is Gone have now unveiled the first official piece of music from debut full-length Echolocation.
Premiered through BBC Radio 1's Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter, "Sentient" begins with an ambient wash of sonics and vocalist/bassist Troy Sanders talking about of staring at the skies, things turning to dust and more. Eventually, the song gets into a slow-mo crush of detuned post-hardcore beats and riffs.
You can stream the song over here. It starts around the 1:42:00 mark.
As for Echolocation, Carter revealed on the program that the record is due January 6 via Rise Records/Black Dune Records.
