In the fine tradition of the Go-Go’s, L7 and the Runaways comes this quartet of four unassuming California grrrls who actually play their own instruments, write their own songs and know how to rock while doing it. Their debut full-length, which almost never came to be when inter-band stress reared its head prior to recording, is filled with high-kicking, fist-pumping chant-alongs that mesh elements of pop and punk with globally-unifying nods to Latin and Celtic folk music on the tracks "The Pirate Song” and "Ticking Bombs.”
