Irish singer-songwriter Glen Hansard will release his second solo album, Didn't He Ramble, on September 18 via Anti-. He's now confirmed that, a couple of months after the record arrives, he will support it with a North American tour.
The North American leg will begin in the first half of November, at which point Hansard will spend the better part of a month on the road, eventually wrapping up at the beginning of December. Most of the stops are in the U.S., but there's also a Vancouver date on November 12. The bulk of the shows (including the Vancouver stop) are with Aoife O'Donovan.
Hansard also has a run of European shows in the summer and early fall. See the full schedule below.
In related news, Hansard's band the Frames just released a compilation called Longitude earlier this month. It's made up of previously released songs, new recordings of old cuts "Revelate" and "Fitzcaraldo," and a brand new number called "None but I." That comp can be streamed in full via the Spotify player at the bottom of this page.
