Glasseater

Glasseater

BY Jasamine White-GluzPublished Jan 1, 2006

If Deftones front-man Chino Moreno decided to collaborate with A New Found Glory, the outcome would no doubt sound much like Glasseater's latest self-titled release. A nice blend of hardcore riffs and mall punk vocals, Glasseater manages once again to slip between musical genres. Hailing from sunny Miami, FL, this five-piece outfit makes you want to slam dance and cry over your latest break-up all at the same time. There's also a lot of unity on this album, which is nice to see after the not so quiet departure of former lead man Jason. Songs like "The Times We've Shared (Forever Family)" and "Nonsense to You, Everything to Us" remind you just how determined and strong Glasseater really are.
