First up, Red Hot Chili Peppers finally unleashed their new single "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" from the upcoming I'm With You. Was it worth the wait? Listen and find out.
Then there is a rare Do Make Say Think demo tape that has been unearthed and made its way online. The early recording is of particular interest because of two previously unreleased tracks, "Crystal" and "Easing."
In a similar vein, the White Stripes have released two vintage cover tracks. These rare takes on Arthur Lee's "Signed D.C." and Otis Redding's "I've Been Loving You Too Long" are sure to help satisfy your craving for the duo's distinct sound. And if you just can't get enough of Jack White, then you should have a listen to a couple of new Black Milk tracks, "Brain" and "Royal Mega," featuring White's guitar and drum skills. The rapper/producer may have outdone himself this time, but have a listen for yourself.
Then we have Vancouver duo the Pack A.D., who have released their newest song "Sirens." The single encapsulates the act's garage rock sound and will be featured on their upcoming release, Unpersons. Also, there is the recent Panda Bear appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
Lastly, in anticipation of the seventh album from Portugal. The Man, we have a stream up of In the Mountain in the Cloud in its entirety. If you simply cannot wait until the official release from these Portland psych rockers, then this preview should be just what you're looking for.
