The soulful, funky Janelle Monáe is set to release her sophomore album, The Electric Lady, tomorrow (September 10). It's a big disc, clocking in at over an hour and featuring a slew of guest spots from Solange to Erykah Badu to Prince, so why wait? Stream it in its entirety at

On the other side of the pond, Arctic Monkeys are getting ready to drop their highly anticipated new album, AM and we've got it streaming in full. This album promises to take their sound into uncharted waters and will feature a guest spot from Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. If you're in the mood for something even louder, you can check out a stream of the new Obits record, Bed & Bugs, before its release tomorrow.

Fans of One Hundred Dollars and the Highest Order might be happy to know that Simone Schmidt will release her first record as Fiver, Lost the Plot, tomorrow as well. But in case you just can't wait, it's available for streaming in full. In other alt-country offerings, the Wild Feathers performed a special acoustic rendition of their track "The Ceiling" before their recent show at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, and we have a clip of it that you can watch now.

Finally, Vancouver rapper Young Braised teamed up with Japanese producer Terio and delivered a new EP, Japanese Tendencies. The recording finds the rapper discussing snacks, weed and women and is brimming with personality.
