Future Islands impressed us with their third album, last year's On the Water, and now the '80s-loving Baltimore synth-pop band are hitting the road again in support of their latest full-length.
The first leg of the tour will go down next month, when Future Islands tour the southeastern U.S. with Passion Pit. After that, they will travel to Europe for a couple of weeks in August before returning to these shores in September. This North American leg will take the band up the U.S. West Coast and to BC stops in Vancouver and Victoria.
While Future Islands haven't released a new album in 2012, they recently dropped On the Water and 2010's In Evening Air on cassette for the first time, meaning that there will be some fresh merch at the table during these shows.
