Vancouver's Fine Times normally specialize in synth-driven indie pop, but they added a couple of steel drum players to the lineup in order to film a special live version of "And It Happened at Midnight" from last year's self-titled album.
The clip was recorded at Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel in August of 2012. It shows the group performing the danceable tune while accompanied by two members of the steel drum band Tropical Heat. These players reinforce the tropical atmosphere created by the tiki-themed room.
Fine Times is out through Light Organ Records.
