The Field's Axel Willner Unveils Debut LP as Loops of Your Heart

BY Josiah HughesPublished Dec 1, 2011

Earlier this year, Stockholm electro great Axel Willner released Looping State of Mind, the fantastic third album from his project the Field. Horrendous live shows aside, this artist was untouchable on record this year, which is why we're that much more excited about his debut album as Loops of Your Heart.

Though he revealed the project back in 2010, Willner will finally treat it to the full-length formula with a new album called And Never Ending Lights. Marking his move from Sweden to Berlin, the album is steeped in German influence, a press release explains, citing sonic touch points like Cluster, Holger Czukay and You.

And Never Ending Lights will be available on January 30 via Magazine as an LP with a free CD. The release can be pre-ordered here, while album track "Neukölln" can be streamed below.

Thanks to Pitchfork for the heads-up.

And Never Ending Lights:

1. "Little You, You Should Develop"
2. "Broken Bow"
3. "Neukölln"
4. "End"
5. "Cries"
6. "Lost in the Mirror"
7. "At the Boards"
