Fast Freddie

Fires

Fast Freddie is not anywhere near your average jam band, or any band for that matter. They are enriched with chaotic talent and it shows. Think of lateral thinking jazz musicians possessed by an assortment of nasty speed demons that keep you up at all hours of the night. Their "rock" aspects recall the drug insanity days of Jefferson Airplane, except that the Grace Slick-style of singing is a result of an acid trip far more intense than Slick has ever experienced herself. The drummer plays the hi-hat heavily, the psych-meter is turned up with a bit of Deep Purple keyboards and progressive dub somehow even finds a wee corner to burrow within in this haywire sound. This band is the perfect accompaniment to the ultimate schmooze party.
