Everyone Everywhere

A Lot Of Weird People Standing Around

BY Sam SutherlandPublished Jun 10, 2009

For anyone raised on records like Four Minute Mile and We Are The Only Friends We Have, listening to Everyone Everywhere is like running into a totally rad old friend at a party and having the best time. But then you make plans to hang out the next day and before you know it you're roommates and you play in a band that sounds a lot like old Promise Ring. So, basically, the best time. The influences of classic '90s emo and power pop are all over these four songs, but the execution is so passionate and the sound so crisp that a few cribbed stylistic notes here and there aren't nothing. If you didn't like the Get Up Kids the first time out don't worry about checking out these Philly power punks. But if you love Midwestern emo, you will love this band.
