Published Jun 27, 2013Toronto folk rock outfit Evening Hymns recently scored a Polaris Music Prize long-list nomination with their album Spectral Dusk, and they will be promoting the hotly tipped long-player with a tour this summer.
In late July and early August, the band will hit the road in Western Canada, playing a string of shows in British Columbia and Alberta as they kill time between folk festivals in Calgary and Edmonton. Later in August, the band will head to the UK for a few shows in England.
In related news, the band have unveiled a music video for the Spectral Dusk piano ballad "Song to Sleep To." The clip was animated by French artist Gaëlle Legrand, and it sets a peaceful mood with its rustic nighttime scenes and handmade-looking images.
