The Drums are taking a turn for the gloomy on their forthcoming Encyclopedia, and now they've shared another track from the collection with "I Can't Pretend."
Clocking in at almost five minutes, this is longer than any song from the band's first two albums. The groove has a bit of bounce to it, but this is overlaid with distorted guitar dissonance, moody keyboard echoes, and morose lyrics like, "It's too hard to begin when you know it will end."

Encyclopedia will come out on September 23 via Arts & Crafts in Canada.
