Dog Eat Dogma

Some bands just never grow up. And in the case of Vancouver's Dog Eat Dogma, that's definitely a good thing. Lead by the inimitable Bob Dog, the band is in fine form with its brand of chug and grunt metal-edged humorous hardcore that recalls Dayglo Abortions, the Meatmen and Suicidal Tendencies. He spouts lyrics about religion, macho insecurity and cockroaches in French, German, Spanish and a form of English that can only be described as obscene. Nothing seems to be too taboo for his attacks. About the only thing Bob takes seriously is his fuck-what-anybody-else-thinks approach to his music.
