Destruction Unit

'Negative Feedback Resistor' (album stream)

Adult Swim has been firing off plenty of freebie track for us to download over the last several weeks as part of its annual singles series, but the music-loving cartoon network has upped the ante with its generosity ahead of the weekend. Teaming up with Sacred Bones, it's now giving away the entirety of Texas hardcore group Destruction Unit's latest full-length, Negative Feedback Resistor.

A press release describes the eight-song offering as "crazed-psychedelic-freek-noise." As such, there's plenty of acid-dappled moments swirling through tracks like "Chemical Reaction/Chemical Delight" and "Disinfect," in addition to the record's hardcore-style pacing and echo chamber-obliterated vocals.

You can download both listen to and download Negative Feedback Resistor now via the Adult Swim site. Physical copies of the album land next Friday (September 18) via Sacred Bones.

Destruction Unit are also taking their damaged ditties across Europe and North America this fall, including a stop at Toronto's Not Dead Yet fest on October 22 and another show at the city's Garrison venue the next night. You can see the rest of their tour schedule here.
