The Decemberists are currently in the midst of an extensive North American tour in support of their latest LP, The King Is Dead. Despite the busy schedule, the group still found time to record a new iTunes Session, which will be available August 2.

The eight-song collection includes two previously unreleased covers: "Hey, That's No Way to Say Goodbye" by Leonard Cohen and "When U Love Somebody" by Fruit Bats. The rest of the cuts are drawn from The King Is Dead, plus previous releases The Hazards of Love, The Crane Wife and 5 Songs. If you pre-order the EP now, you will get an instant down of "June Hymn."
