Dearly Beloved Reveal 'Admission' LP, Premiere New Single

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Sep 26, 2016

We haven't heard much from Dearly Beloved since they dropped their tour-documenting video clip for "Seven Plagues" last year. That's about to change, though, as the noisy Toronto rockers have just revealed plans for their next album.

The band's next full-length is going by the name Admission, and it will arrive on October 28 through Aporia Records.

The upcoming effort was recorded with producer Daniel Rey at Dave Grohl's L.A.-based Studio 606, "using the custom built, '70s-era Neve 8028 analog console that gave us Nevermind and more than a hundred certified gold and platinum rock records."

And while the new tunes hear the band remaining committed to "expanding their dynamic range in every sense," they still promise to keep things as punishingly raucous as ever.

The first taste of the new material arrives in the form of lead single "I Tried to Leave," which you can hear for the first time right now in the player below.
