Published Oct 18, 2012The Canadian leg of A$AP Rocky's current North American tour with Schoolboy Q and Danny Brown has faced a few obstacles already, with both the Toronto and Montreal gigs getting postponed over "unforeseen immigration issues." As far as we know, the A$AP Mob are set to arrive in full for the next scheduled Canadian date, October 20 at Vancouver's Vogue Theatre, but now it turns out opener Brown will be a no-show.
Though Brown didn't dole out the details in full, the Detroit rapper did take to his Twitter account this morning (October 18) to tell his fans that he's going to skip performing in Lotusland this time around.
"Sorry Vancouver but I'd rather save myself the embarrassment," he posted cryptically. "Next time Fasure tho I promise."
The promoters, meanwhile, offered the following statement, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Danny Brown will no longer be support for this date on the LongLiveA$AP Tour."
None of the other artists performing at the Vogue has commented on Brown's bailing, or whether or not they'll make it across the line, so it sounds as if it's game on for the rest of the night.
