The Cribs

Though criminally overlooked for their beautifully jumbled 2004 self-titled debut, Leeds, England's the Cribs ought to find justice with this rollicking new single from their forthcoming album The New Fellas. Already gracing an episode of The O.C., "Hey Scenesters!” is the sound of a thousand music journalists kicking themselves to this punchy slice of punky indie pop. Featuring a tight and danceable rhythm along with the brothers Jarman performing their patented call and response gang harmonies, it's their best moment to date and one of the year's best singles so far.
