Courtney Barnett

"City Looks Pretty" (video)

Courtney Barnett is just over a month away from releasing her sophomore solo LP Tell Me How You Really Feel, and she's just offered up another preview of the album with a video for "City Looks Pretty."

It follows previously shared album cuts "Nameless, Faceless" and "Need a Little Time." "City Looks Pretty" hears Barnett experimenting with squealing guitars beneath lyrics about changing dynamics between friends and strangers.

The clip itself features grainy footage of clocks, fans, lights, carnival rides, sushi and a peacock, giving off a kaleidoscopic home video feel.

Tell Me How You Really Feel is due out May 18 via Mom+Pop/Marathon Artists/Milk! Records.

It marks the follow-up to her 2015 debut full-length Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, though she also released collaborative album Lotta Sea Lice with Kurt Vile last year.
