Coliseum Announce 10th Anniversary Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 6, 2014

Kentucky noise-rock conquistadors Coliseum are cranking their amps in celebration of their 10th anniversary, and as such, they have revealed plans to bring the party around North America this summer.

The trio's "Decade: The Tenth Anniversary Shows" tour will be spread out over the summer, with concerts taking place between June and August. While many of the dates have the group hammering out their oppressive post-hardcore catalogue on U.S. stages, there are two up-north gigs to report. Following an August 18 appearance at Hamilton's Doors Pub, Coliseum play Toronto's Silver Dollar on August 19 alongside old pals Burning Love, with whom they issued a split LP in 2011.

As previously reported, Coliseum recently signed to Deathwish Inc. to deliver a 10th anniversary edition of their self-titled debut. The new edition comes with eight additional tracks, was remixed by Toxic Holocaust's Joel Grind, and features liner notes and new artwork from Baroness's John Baizley. The record drops August 19, making Toronto the de facto release party.
