Circus Maximus

The debut from this Dream Theatre-worshipping band of Norwegians is exactly what one might expect from a European new wave prog metal band. Yet in spite of that, it’s actually not a terrible album. Sure there are the wince-inducing "Final Countdown” keyboard swells and multi-part harmony vocals, but the band’s technical prowess and delivery manage to make up for whatever clichés they evoke.
