There’s no denying people love their vinyl these days. In fact, many love it so much that they actually want to be the vinyl. Yes, be it. Don’t believe us? In fact, so many people are sleevefacing that now there’s a whole book coming out about it, the appropriately titled Sleeveface: Be the Vinyl.

Released December 1, the book of sleevefacing pics comes courtesy of Artisan Division of Workman Publishing and features 192 pages of wannabes and look-a-likes posing as everyone from Dennis Wilson to Morrissey to Madonna. In the words of the press release: "This hilarious, debonair and artistic gift book... will appeal to record collectors, music lovers across the generations, and anybody — which is to say everybody who ever fancied him or herself a rock god.”

Or according to BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, "This book won’t help you lose weight, make friends or money, won't help you give up chocolate or change the way you think. It will, however, make you laugh, stare and wonder at the brilliance of sleeveface!"
