Bob Mould Books 2013 Dates, Plays Toronto

BY Alex HudsonPublished Dec 13, 2012

Hüsker Dü alumnus Bob Mould had a busy 2012 that included signing to Merge, releasing his Silver Age solo album, and launching a fundraiser for his star-studded new concert film. Evidently he's not planning on slowing down in 2013, since the veteran songwriter announced a new batch of dates.

The jaunt is a fairly brief one, as it features just four North American shows, two of which are in New York. Luckily, it includes a Canadian appearance in Toronto on March 1 at the Horseshoe Tavern.

After the North American trip is over, he'll be heading to Australia for a selection of dates. See Mould's schedule below.

During all of these shows, he will be backed by drummer Jon Wurster (Superchunk, the Mountain Goats) and bassist Jason Narducy (Spl:t S:ngle, Verbow), both of whom performed on Silver Age.

If you'd like to ask Mould about these upcoming shows, or about anything else, he will be participating in an "Any Me Anything" session on Reddit this coming Monday (December 17).

As for Mould's in-progress Kickstarter campaign, it ends on December 22. He's still a little more than $17,000 short of his $95,000 goal, so pledge your support here. Watch a trailer at the bottom of this page.
