Not only is there a jazz drummer named Bob Moses, that's also the name of a Canada-born/Brooklyn-based electronic duo. The pair formed in 2012, and they just signed to Domino Records in advance of a new 12-inch.
The record is called First to Cry and it will be out digitally on June 17. Vinyl will follow on July 29; the first 100 online orders will come on pink wax.
The collection's sort-of title track is "I Ain't Gonna Be the First to Cry," a mellow dance number with grooving instrumentation and soothing vocals. It's available to stream below and can be purchased from iTunes. The 12-inch can also be pre-ordered here.
The single also includes a track called "Grace."
The duo's tour schedule is below. It includes worldwide dates and a handful of U.S. gigs, but no shows in Canada.
