On a tidal wave of four-chord guitars and sticky vocal melodies, Bleached dashed through their second of three nights at the Silver Dollar, delivering a frenetic, straightforward set that thrived thanks largely to its breakneck pace. Singer Jennifer Clavin's vocals instantly evoke Josie Cotton and, to a lesser extent, Joan Jett, and they were well paired with booming, 4/4 hammering and driving guitars. Single and crowd favourite "Searching Through the Past" was the easy highlight, though new cuts fared particularly well. And like George Costanza leaving on a high note -- but with a flash of blonde hair -- it was over.
