Bayside

Bayside

BY Ariana RockPublished Nov 1, 2005

If the world was a better place, the grass really would be greener on your side of the lawn, your favourite shoes would never wear out, and all the Nickelbacks and Simple Plans of this world would be a distant memory in the shadow of Bayside. They have a catchy, melodic sound, but still manage to mix in enough metal-esque riffs to avoid having only 14-year-old girls show up to their gigs. Although not as diverse as it could be, this has just enough darkness and attitude to keep from aggravating that sugar tooth that already gets enough attention. Overall, this is a great, catchy album that you should be getting your hands on and trading in those old, tired CDs that no longer cut it (and then maybe the grass on your side of the fence will at least seem greener).
