In announcing new album Werewolves of London, Ontario last month, B.A. Johnston shared that performance announcements — in backyards, driveways or otherwise — were on the way. Now, the Hamilton singer-songwriter has shared his cross-country slate of dates for 2022.
This March and April, Johnston will move between Ontario and the Maritime provinces for 16 total shows, performing select dates alongside Sons of Butcher, Thunderkok, the Mickies, Jody Richardson, My Son the Hurricane, Outtacontroller and the Burning Hell.
In May, Johnston will keep to Ontario with shows in Oshawa and Waterloo (the latter with Marty Topps), before a busy June in which he's also expected to release Werewolves of London, Ontario. That month will see him trek throughout Western Canada (including a stop in "Prince Fucking George, BC"), before a June 30 show in Peterborough rounds out the run.
Oddly enough, Johnston's tour presently doesn't include a stop in the city that inspired the title of his forthcoming full-length, but that's all the more reason for London, ON, residents to step up and book him to play their lawn. You can find his complete 2022 tour itinerary below.
Last year, Johnston appeared in Hamilton-set comedy series This Is the Thing. Werewolves of London, Ontario follows his 2019 LP The Skid Is Hot Tonight.
