Rapper Angel Haze has been branching out as of late. There was her acoustic cover of Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball," and now she's released a poem called "You Broke My Heart."
In a simple webcam clip, Haze recites the poem with a rapid-fire delivery while seated in what looks to be an extremely fancy computer chair. It's not exactly rap, and there's no particular rhythm or repetitive cadence to the words — rather, it's more of a spoken word piece. As the title implies, it's a scathing account of failed romance that captures Haze at her most emotionally forthright.
Haze released it as part of her ongoing 30 Gold series.
