Angel Haze's debut LP Dirty Gold is apparently still in the incubation stage, but the buzzed-about rapper has offered up a freestyle on Kanye West's "New Slaves" to keep us happy before her set of originals arrives.
The track finds Haze spitting atop that familiarly evil, minimalist synth beat, riffing off of Ye's original bars by noting that her own mother grew up in the era when "crack rock lived in the veins of our heroines." Throughout the rest of the freestyle, she sounds off on high tech gadgetry turning us into a legion of idiots, as well as sexual violence and the high cost of education.
