Aidan Knight

"Margaret Downe" (video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 26, 2014

Ahead of some spring tour dates with James Vincent McMorrow, BC indie-pop player Aidan Knight has gifted us a tender, contemplative video clip behind his Small Reveal's fragile folk song, "Margaret Downe."

Directed by William Wilkinson and Oliver Brooks, the clip features a series of stirring vignettes of the titular Downe as Knight's finger-plucked character study streams in the ether. Here, you'll find her in a few settings, whether working herself raw as she chops down a tree in a wooded paradise, takes a contemplative drive down a highway, or a puff from a cigarette at a carehome.

You can piece it all together for yourself by giving the intimate video a peep down below.
