As we count down the days until the release of the Abramson Singers' new album, Late Riser, on May 14, the vocally oriented Vancouver folk act have scheduled a batch of Canadian tour dates and premiered a video for the LP cut "Liftoff Cannon."

The tour will last for much of May and will find the Leah Abramson-led band touring through Canada's western provinces, This includes shows in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba before the outfit make their way back to BC and wrap up with a double album release party with Brasstronaut's Tariq Hussain.

A few of the dates are with Astral Swans, led by Extra Happy Ghost!!! songwriter Matthew Swann. See the schedule below.

Scroll past the dates to watch the newly unveiled video for "Liftoff Cannon." The track is a lush a cappella number that creates chord progressions using densely layered vocals, while the accompanying video was created by Lucien Durey from 8mm home movies from the '50s and '60s.
