Nicole Kidman is set to star in a new crime thriller limited series from HBO called The Undoing. Today, the trailer for the series has arrived, and you can watch it down below.
The miniseries is based on the 2014 novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. Big Little Lies showrunner David E. Kelley is helming the project alongside Bird Box director Susanne Bier. Kidman will act as co-executive producer.
"The great thing about the series — and what really drew me to it — is that it's so twisty and nothing is as it seems," Kidman said at a recent TCA panel.
Here's the show synopsis provided in a YouTube description:
The limited series The Undoing stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant as Grace and Jonathan Fraser, who are living the only lives they ever wanted for themselves. Overnight a chasm opens in their lives: a violent death and a chain of terrible revelations. Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child (Noah Jupe) and her family.
The series will star Kidman, Grant and Jupe alongside Donald Sutherland, Dala Chen, Édgar Ramírez, Michelle Devine, Lily Rabe and more.
No set premiere date has been announced, but the show is expected to arrive on HBO this May.
