Helen McCrory — the award-winning British actress best known for her Peaky Blinders role — has died following a battle with cancer. She was 52.
McCrory's husband, Billions actor Damian Lewis, confirmed her death today on Twitter.
"She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you," Lewis wrote.

McCrory played the role of Aunt Polly, the matriarch of the Shelby clan, Peaky Blinders, but her acting credits go far beyond that role.
She recently was in His Dark Materials, voicing Lord Asriel's dæmon Stelmaria, as well as the political drama Roadkill and last year's Quiz. Over the years, McCrory other many TV roles included appearances in MotherFatherSon, Fearless and Penny Dreadful.
In film, McCrory played Narcissa Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, as well as was in Skyfall, Hugo and The Queen, among others.
