Jordan Peele Is Producing a Reboot of 'The Twilight Zone'

Jordan Peele's wildly successful directorial debut Get Out correctly stands as one of the best film's of 2017, and many have wondered what he'll do next. Peele had previously said he had numerous story ideas, and it looks as if he's been given the perfect place to release them. After all, he's been named as the producer on a reboot of The Twilight Zone.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new iteration of the classic anthology series has been ordered by the CBS All Access subscription service, and Peele is on board as a producer alongside X-Men's Simon Kinberg and Daredevil's Marco Ramirez. 

In a statement, Peele said, "Too many times this year it's felt we were living in a twilight zone, and I can't think of a better moment to reintroduce it to modern audiences."

Kinberg added, "The Twilight Zone was a touchstone in my life. The opportunity to continue its lineage is a dream come true, and I'm so thrilled to be doing it with Jordan, Marco and the team at CBS All Access."
