Patricia Arquette's Golden Globe acceptance speech may have left a metaphorical impression on the audience last night (January 5), but her trophy left an actual impression on the forehead of her The Act co-star Joey King.
The 20-year-old took to social media this morning to show off her celebratory wound, explaining, "Patricia Arquette accidentally hit me in the head with her Golden Globe."
A photo from last night shows a bruise starting to form in the middle of King's forehead, and a photo from today proves that it wasn't just a temporary mark.
King seems to be taking the injury in stride, though, declaring that she now has "bragging rights for the rest of my life."
Arquette has since replied to King's post, joking, "What happens in the elevator stays in the elevator!" She added, "No seriously I'm so sorry sweetest one."
