HBO's long-running weed comedy High Maintenance has officially come to an end following news that it will not return for Season 5.

It's been announced that the show — which was spun out of a web series from Katja Blichfeld and star Ben Sinclair — will not be coming back, with a statement from HBO suggesting that it was Blichfeld and Sinclair's decision.

"Co-creators Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair have decided to take a break from producing High Maintenance to pursue other projects," a statement from HBO reads. "We look forward to hearing what they come up with next."

High Maintenance ran for 19 episodes as a Vimeo web series before being picked up by HBO in 2016. What is now the series finale aired on April 3, 2020.

This news follows HBO's cancellation of Insecure, which was announced earlier this week.
