The Spike Jonze-directed documentary about Beastie Boys is being postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The group confirmed last night (March 17) that the film will be delayed with a new release date to be announced later. It was originally scheduled to arrive on April 2 in IMAX ahead of a global release through Apple TV+ on April 24.

The film was directed by Jonze and co-written by Jonze, Mike D (Michael Diamond) and Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz). In January, they shared a teaser clip, with the official trailer arriving last week.
