Kanye West to Perform on 'SNL'

In possibly the best public display of comedy this week, Kanye West tore Wiz Khalifa a new one in an epic 17-part Twitter rant. Now, rumours are claiming that he'll be making a return to live comedy by appearing on Saturday Night Live next month.

The rapper is set to drop his recently retitled Waves album on February 11, premiering it with a theatrical multimedia event at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Fake Shore Drive is reporting that West will appear on SNL that same weekend, serving as the musical guest to host Melissa McCarthy on February 13.

UPDATE (01/29, 3:30 p.m.): SNL has now confirmed that Kanye is indeed set to play the show on February 13.

West has appeared on the show six times to date, most recently contributing performances of "Jesus Walks," "Only One" and "Wolves" on SNL's 40th anniversary special in February of last year.
