Following a reveal of the nominees back in July, Wolf Alice have been awarded the 2018 Mercury Prize.
The English alt-rock outfit were awarded the prize for their sophomore LP Visions of a Life, which arrived last September.
The group's competition included Arctic Monkeys' Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, Jorja Smith's Lost & Found, King Krule's The Ooz and Florence and the Machine's High as Hope, among others.
As in years past, the 12 shortlisted albums were selected by an independent panel of judges, made up of writers, broadcasters and musicians. The group will receive a cash prize of £25,000.
Wolf Alice are the first female-fronted act to win the award since PJ Harvey's 2011 victory for Let England Shake. Find the full list of 2018 nominees below.
