For all his recent screen appearances, Kid Cudi's Netflix series Entergalactic still has yet to arrive, but the latest tease reveals both an expected release period and a star-studded voice cast.
Yesterday (June 8), the Man on the Moon shared a second Entergalactic teaser trailer that follows the first look fans got last September. Found below, it introduces viewers to show's colourful animated universe, and is soundtracked by a clip of a new song called "Do What I Want" which the artist previously teased during an Instagram Live broadcast.
The latest tease also reveals Entergalactic's wider cast, with Jessica Williams, Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla $ign, Laura Harrier, Vanessa Hudgens, Christopher Abbott, 070 Shake, Teyana Taylor, Jaden Smith, Keith David, Arturo Castro and Macaulay Culkin lining up alongside Cudi in the vocal booth.
Produced by Cudi and Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, Entergalactic is based on a forthcoming album of the same name from the artist, following 2020's Man on the Moon III: The Chosen. The series follows a young artist named Jabari (voiced by Cudi) "as he attempts to balance love and success" while living in New York.
"I have been waiting 3 long years for you all to see what I've been working on all this time," Cudi shared in a statement. Calling it his "greatest achievement," he added, "this project will move you, it will take your heart places and make you fall in love again. I am so proud of every single person involved who helped bring my vision to life."
Entergalactic is due to premiere this fall on Netflix. In March, it was reported that Kid Cudi would write, direct and star in forthcoming Netflix film Teddy. Earlier this year, he appeared in Ti West's A24 horror X.
